Grams of what substance, exactly? Grams is a measurement of mass and teaspoon is a measurement of volume. Different substances have different densities, and therefore different masses per unit volume, so there is not one answer to your question.

There is just about one gram of sugar in a packet that you would get from a restaurant. You could use that if you have some lying around the house to measure.
