First of all they are supposed to scare the living crap out of you. Then ask your friends which one they love and then go to that park, stand in the line with your back to the coaster and keep telling yourself you will be fine a million people have done this and lived. Don't' look at it, that will just make you crazy. Wait till you turn then get in the seat, put you seat belt on and just suck it up. Getting up that first hill is the hardest part, once you are cruising down it is just an absolute blast! You will laugh and scream you a** off. The best part is when you get off that ride and turn around and look at it then realize you did it!! They are so much fun.

Jump on and hold on for dear life!! LOL The only way you can conquer it is start off with a small one first then work your way up to the really fast ones. Wooden coasters tend to shake you around much more that the steel coasters. Steel coasters go a little faster but have a much smoother ride. HAVE FUN!!!

Just know that you're strapped in tight and there is no possible way that you can fall out. Its been like fifty years since someone has fallen out. And just tell your self why do they have a height minimum? I'm taller than the minimum so I'm perfectly fine. But if that doesn't work start with thrill rides then rollercoasters without loops then a slow rollercoaster with like one loop. Then you can ride the big ones. But without the working your way up with rides like borrow a friends go kart or golf cart and find a place with bumpy terrain. Or find a not that steep hill and drive up real fast with the go kart or golf kart.

well..the best way to overcome your fear is to face it.
You could start out small and work your way up.
I didnt. I started out on Outer Limit-Flight of Fear at kings island. It went from 0 to 60 in like 5 seconds and went upside down 6 times. It was dark and i couldnt really tell when we were about to go upside down but it was fun.

Ride the biggest, the faster roller coaster you can find. When you live, you'll see it's okay. For me roller coasters are where you can find your soul... so ride. Go big, do it now.

Why would you want to overcome your fear? You're in the perfect state of mind. Once you overcome the fear, rollercoasters lose their thrill and become boring.

Work your way up... go on a kiddie coaster, then a non-upside down but big one, then a not-to scary upside down one, and then the most extreme ride in the park!!!!!!!!
