Some that I've bought:
Y Tu Mama Tambien (En Espanol, with subtitles: great flick)
Lost in America: Albert Brooks, a classic
The Last Detail: early Jack Nicholson
The trilogy: Best in Show (the best); Waiting for Guffman; A Mighty Wind--basically same Eugene Levy group that did Spinal Tap.
A fish Called Wanda
The Royal Tennenbaums
Igby Goes Down
The Tao of Steve
Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself (little known, very good, offbeat)
The Zeros (same as above--great goofy cast)
These are all a little loopy, kinda fun, good films.
Speaking of David Lynch, his movie "Straight Story" (brother hops on his John Deere tractor to ride many miles to see his brother) fits the definition of "crazy, yet intriguing."

My favourites are:
- Mulholland Drive (took me 2 viewings to figure out what was happening, yet I was riveted the whole time watching even while I was clueless)
- Being John Malkovich (crazy premise about people stumbling on a portal into John Malkovich's head and how they make use of it)
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is another movie that takes a whacky idea and runs with it (same director as the Malkovich film)
btw, I asked a different but similar question, so you might want to check out some more responses here:

I just saw The Aquatic Life With Steve Zissou. I think it was a comedy, but mostly it was really odd and .... well... odd....
An older one I remember was Eating Raoul, in which a yuppie couple eats... well, watch it and find out! I saw it a long time ago, but when I was a teen I thought it was really funny.
I like Jim Jarmusch movies a lot. Try these: Down By Law, Stranger Than Paradise, or Dead Man.

Jason X, a horror movie that wound up spoofing itself.
Or The Fifth Element, in some ways, it was crazy, yet had an underlying message.

Depends on what you mean by "completely crazy" and what intrigues you.
"Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" is hilarious, weird, and violent.
"Memento," "The Usual Suspects," and "Adaptation" are mind-blowing/intriguing dramas.
"The Big Lebowski" is one the craziest comedies ever, not as violent as "Lock, Stock."
It would help if you'd name a few other movies you like, so answerers understand better what your tastes are.

Anything by Wes Anderson or the movie Suicide Kings with Chris Walken and Dennis Leary. It's a great suspense flick, and Leary and Walken have some great lines in it. Watch for the "Busket" scene in particular.
