1) Maybe he doesn't like you enough to ask you out. 2) Maybe he doesn't have money to ask you out. 3) Maybe he's shy. You could be brave and ask him if there is a possibility you two could ever go out and see what he says. That's a little short of actually asking him out. It might help you find out if the reason is 1).

Any woman worth her salt will give subtle signals so that he understands her attraction. If he's to thick to get it, you have to decide if you want to spend any more of your time attempting to get his attention. It has always really been up to the woman. And in this day and time it is very sexy to have a woman ask a guy for a drink/coffee/burger. If the guy 'likes' her things will either fly or crash.

timmy has asked me out for a movie but i dont like him, sigh, i wish somene else would ask me to the movie cause i had an extra ticket and i would want to go out with someone who actually liked me. sigh i relaly want to get rid of this ticket so OKAy then! the very NEXT person who asks me to this movie will be my date! but who will ask me, because there's only you and me here now, sigh what to do what to do

Talk to him and let him know how you feel. It'll help break the ice. Besides it doesn't hurt to give him a little nudge in the right direction.

You come over, sit on his lap in a social situation, get him "interested..." then pour a glass of water over his head and tell him you got better plans for a better man.
