I didn't know what category to put it under, but are they hard to keep. It would be a inground or above ground pool, not a blow up one.

I bought a house a couple years ago and one of the questions they asked me ... do you have a pool or plan on buying one, i asked why, they said that a pool is a liability and your insurance will be higher due to the fact that if someone gets hurt or drowns in your pool you can be sued. If you have children around where you live and they come in your yard when your not home and they get injured or drown they can sue you even if they are the ones trespassing. Same goes for a trampoline, the chemicals are not too much maybe a couple hundred dollars, you will have to shock it and test it and vaccume it all the time, bugs, leaves body soil, it's a lot to keep up but even though it's a lot of work it's worth it if you use it all the time.

Having a house with a pool would make for GREAT NEIGHBORS and your house would be the only house that would get ALL the attention and people would want to get to know you just to swim in your pool and you could have Pool Parties. If you were to sell your home it would make of Great Value and I personally would want to live next door to ya.

If you buy a house with a pool, your house insurance is a bit cheaper because you have a water source on site in case of fire.

Depends on where you live. Pools do add some chores however they are a positive in almost any lifestyle. Plus you can pay a pool guy.

you will enjoy it immensely , an in ground pool would add more to the value of your house than an unsightly overground pool, when having the work commissioned get as many quotations as you can , and happy swimming
