3 weeks of vacation time but for the first couple of years I only had 2 weeks. 10 paid holidays. 2 personal days.

All paid statutory holidays (10 per year) plus 4% in lieu of a paid vacation (because I'm on a temporary contract). At my old job (in Italy) we didn't get paid for any holidays, and we weren't allowed to work in August or around Christmas- meaning we were left unpaid for six weeks per year, without choice.

I work for the State. We get 9 paid holidays, discretionary day, and accumulate 3.75 hrs ( for employees that've worked 0-5 years. Longer employment increases the hours) for vacation and sick leave each pay period.
And we can use our vacation days any time we want.
As of right now I have 39+ hrs for vacation and 250+ hrs of sick time.

30 consecutive days (that can be broken down into 3 separate vacations). There is an additional week (that includes either X-mas or New Year) that traditionally has been also "given" (but we have to work extra hours throughout December).
