I agree hunni, the funny part is my father-in-law lives with us, yet he comes to us for help with money. Funny how the roles got reversed there. Other than that I do not have anyone I can really turn to for help, we just deal with whatever comes our way...We always find a way to get by during those tough times

I use my savings, in an emergency, and have cd,s that mature and keep recycling that money into savings account, I have accepted money from my father when I needed it and did not ask for it, either, my cousin from out of town had asked him if I was still having financial issues and my father was unaware and asked me what was going on, yes aduts take care of themselves but sometimes in our lives, we all need somebody to lean on ,it just feels better being the person someone else can rely on than the person who needs assistance

My parents are both deceased and my other family members have their own bills and so forth. So if things get hard I have to make choices and deal with my decisions on my own. I haven't run to my parents or anyone else in over ten years.

yes of course...but with some people they have alot of problems so they ask for help. i myself make plenty to survive and get most of my wants but i help other family when possible. not when their just the lazy kind but someone who is busting their butt trying. but before, when i was in school i had some help here and there. nothing wrong with it as long as its for good reasons and your doing your 100% best.

Well you must be incredibly flipping proud of yourself. Is this a question or an opportunity to turn your nose up at others?

As much as possible, try to think of other alternatives to get financial help outside of your parents. The legal alternatives, ok?

Yeah, I do what I can on my own, and so far, one way or the other, it's worked out, with the help and guidance from God.

I may have borrowed gas money once in a while, but that was it. I keep my living expenses nice and low.
