Well women are always stronger then men in some ways. A man might be able to beat a woman up, but that in itself is a side of weekness. Most of the women beaters will not even fight another man.

My son died on 01/04/06. When we were at the hospital and we had to answer a lot of questions. My husband couldn't handle any of it. I was weak and upset too. I felt hurt and disappointed. I thought he was suppose to be stronger then me.
After time went by ; I had to do research to see exactly what caused our son to die. He couldn't stomach hearing the truth. Once again he was weak. I was really pi**ed off.
So, later I expressed how I felt. I also told him how I needed him to be the stronger one. He simply explained, the truth to me. There are going to be times in our lives when the roles will be reversed. It's not a man or woman thing. It's simply how a person can cope with the trials and tribulations when endure. God Bless!

I grew up as a bit of a tomboy and have always worked out so I wouldn't say it was by accident. I am competitive (in a fun way) by nature and my husband, who is a great guy, wasn't into fitness like I am, so I assumed I was as strong or stronger and through the years it is evident that I am. Guess what? He is strong in a lot of other areas so it balances out and is a non-issue in our relationship.

To say that I am physically stronger than my boyfriend, would be a lie. But I am faster, more agile mentally and physically than him, and I have an advantage, kick boxing training! I also strength train everyday to keep in shape. But, If he ever gave me reason that I would ever have to use any of it to defend myself, he would be out the door in a heart beat. A good man would never raise a hand to a women, even if provoked. Now that is stronger than any women could be!

Some yrs ago my ex & I got into a physical altercation, and I got the better of him. I was very surprised because I always assumed he was stronger. He's taller & weighs more than I do, but I discovered that strength is not based on those things after all. To say the least I was very proud of myself. He was very embarassed & upset, & was very petty about it, in that he constantly tried to stir things up so that he can 'prove' himself I guess.

I think you are obviously talking about being physically stronger than your boyfriend...but I think the scariest thing is to realize that your boyfriend is more emotionally sensitive/weaker than you are! Perhaps you haven't experienced it, but I have, and I had to run, run, run away from that situation because I was afraid that I'd hurt his feelings with my lack of tact.

oh, yeah. yesterday, i went on a hike with like 40-50 people. my bf was there. it was a 3 mile ledge. it was SO hot. after the first 10 minutes or so, there was a sign indicating that we were @ the 0.5 mile point. i told my bf about it, then we said "oh, yeah. im going back. care 2 join me?" he went back. i didnt. I MADE IT 2 THE TOP! @ the end there were only 5 people left, and my friend and i were the only women. i wasnt even tired, just hot.

My husband and I have been married for 48 yrs.,and I learned that my husband could not make any decisions on who was going to run the household when we were married for six mos.He has always been the one who worked to take care of our seven kids and myself. I have always been the one to make decisions over our children and have always been the one to attend their school events, since kinder to high sch. My husband has always been very shy that I sometimes wonder where he got the guts to ask me out and to ask my parents for my hand in marriage. But, he has always been a good provider, and very loyal to me. And he is so used to seeing me make all the decisions that he is happy to see me do it.
