my dad's two cylinder diesel(asia-allis chalmers)ran out of fuel and iv'e tried to bleed air out,'course fuel tank is full, and so far it will not pump fuel. There is not a hand pump on fuel filter or on the fuel injector and i don't know which srews on pump to let out air?

PROBLEM SOLVED: i tried pretty much everything everybody said except pressurizing tank(almost though). Loosened bolt on side of injector pump and let the air out there and with lines loose,it started!!

You have a few options here, first I would find the injector pump inlet line and take it loose. Pump the lever on the fuel pump if it has one until fuel comes out the line. Connect line and loosen the lines at the injectors, pump the fuel pump lever a few more strokes and then spin engine over and allow air to bleed out of injector lines. Tighten injector lines and start engine. A little trick I have learned. You can take a red rag and pour some gas on it and hold it over the air filter intake. As the air passes the rag it will take the vapors from the fuel into the air induction and the compression will ignite the fuel and the engine will start and run on the fuel vapor. You will be able to tell when the engine is running on diesel because of the exhaust. One word of caution, hold the rag tightly or make sure the air cleaner bonnet has a screen that will prevent the rag from getting sucked into the intake. If you have access to compressed air you can open fuel tank and blow air into the tank thus forcing the fuel through the filters and into the injector pump. Be sure to limit the pressure you apply in the tank you would not want to rupture the tank, Start out slowly and just apply a little air than wait and allow the fuel to move through the system. An air blower and with a red rag wraped around the nozzle can be used to seal off the tank. When you do this you still need to provide a way for the air to escape. There should be bleeder screws located on the top of each filter but if not taking the line going into the injector pump will work. Some would suggest using starting fluid, but I have never liked it and do not advocate its use. The gas on a rag is cheeper and workes just as well. Good luck.

Not good but not too hard to remedy. The first thing I would do is make sure you have fuel in the tank. Next remove the fuel filter and fill it up with diesel and screw it back on. Some of the 450's have an inline primer pump and some don't. I hope yours does because not having one on there will make it harder to get primed up. Most of the time just filling the fuel filters up will get it going. If you have a primer pump then pump it until you can feel resistance. It should pressure up after about 20-30 pumps. Your gonna have to charge your batteries up because you'll have to crank the engine for a little bit for it to prime the injectors. I have used starting fluid to get a diesel primed before but with these newer style engines it isn't recommended. A little bit of starting fluid goes a long way so if you decide to use it be sparing. If it still doesn't start then you might have a damaged fuel injection pump. I had to replace one once that run out of fuel but it had some water in the fuel tank and that's what did the damage. I don't know what other advice to give so good luck.

Try spraying either in the air intake and stating it that way, that will spin the engine a lot faster than the starter, and the pump will spin faster too. You might have to do it a few times to get it to prime, but if you can keep a spray going every couple seconds it might do it. Dont put too much though as it will ignite too quickly and cause the engine to kick back and sorta lock up. Dont know if it will work for you, but sometimes it will.

Try cracking the fuel lines again.....get the pump going....pressurize that system to push the air out. If you have to, crack the line at the pump and make sure your pump is primed. You can feed fuel directly into the line from the pump when you crack the lines at the divider to prime the hole system. Good luck.
