Wanna help me write a song?

Question

I've been writing a script for a musical that i wanna produce (not theatre) and i'm writing the songs for that musical but i don't have ideas. Please help?

Okay, okay, it's not a musical. this story is about a group of teens entering a quiz comp. i'm thinking of inserting some songs along the story, you know, like most of DCOMs.

Genre: pop, band, a little rap.

IF the musical has anything where someone would be offering words of encouragement to someone else who's having a real hard time I have written a song, just no music for it. I won't post it in its entirety here for obvious reasons but part of it goes,
..."We share the fate of a thousand years....of tomorrow's sun and yesterday's fears...Just don't give up...somewhere a new day has begun...somehow we'll find that bright tomorrow...and we'll share our day in the sun."
