Just the other night the show finished off with Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind," one of my favorite songs. I don't think there are any soundtracks from this show, but there is definitely a theme therein of playing music from the era of each unsolved case, which opens up lots of possibilities for really great background music.
One problem I notice with t.v. and movies is that the credits at the end get short shrifted: announcers come on and talk over the ending song, or the credits get minimized to microscopic (so you can't see anything relating to the show or the songs in it). I've seen parts of movies that thereafter I spent years looking for because all I saw was the end. When will Hollywood ever get wise and put the name of the movie AT BOTH ENDS of a film!!!!!?

I don't know, but I agree with you. I love their music choices. I'll bet you could find out on the network web page or by e-mailing the shows producers from the web page contact button.
