I know she is sexually active and I don't think she uses condoms. I know this will lead to an uncomfterable conversation but I still should do it. Normally I leave her alone about stuff like this, but this time I am worried about her safety.

I'm not going to rat her out to our parents. One reason I would do this for her is to keep our parents from finding out.

Talk to her, and impress upon her the extreme danger of being sexually active, particularly at her age. Also tell her, that you're not responsible for anything that happens to her, and that you can't save her if she gets an STD or (unlikely though) gets pregnant. It's an uncomfortable conversation to have, but it needs to be had. And be sure your mom knows, or your dad. They have more power than you do, so they can do more to stop your sister. She's 11, for crying out loud. She's either in 5th or 6th grade. most kids don't even feel attracted to the opposite sex at that age. Good luck with that talk

You should definitely buy her condoms and sit down and talk to her about other preventive measures that she can do to prevent her from getting pregnant or an STD. She can't be watched 24/7, so you can't stop her from having sex. But you can teach the right way to do it. Good Luck!

I'd inform your mom that you are worried about your sister. Say that you suspect she is having sex with her boyfriend.

11 is much too young to be having sex and the authority here is your mom, not you.

If you don't want to be blamed then tell your mom how important it is to you, that you had to say something, but you don't want her to find out it was you because it could damage your relationship with your sister.

If you mom doesn't take action then step in and take your sister to Planned Parenthood yourself. Even if she doesn't appreciate it now she will in the future.

Tell your mom- but don't breach your sisters trust to much-
mention it in passing to your mom- kind of give her the uhm- mom This is what's been bothering me- buy your sister condoms & talk to your sister after you mention it to your parents- she might respond better coming from a sibling than a parent- if your parents haven't talked to her yet- someone needs to knock some sense into her- about safe sex- STD's

she's 11! well, if your parents arent talking to her about this, then you definately should! its not your responsibility, but if you want to avoid a nasty situation with your parents, then get them for her. depending on how old you are, I suggest you take her to a planned parenthood center and she can get birth control too...this is very important so do it(for her sake and yours& ur parents)!

Tell your mom, she should not be having sex at 11 years old. What is she thinking? Her body can't handle having a baby right now, not to mention that she can't even take care of it. Please tell your mom.
