Well, you don't need to be SUPER vigilant about washing the area. Just wash it with mild soap and water once a day or a few times a day if so inclined, and when you're done you can dry the area with a towel or something. That helps a little. Also, when you're peeing, you could try retracting your foreskin and then wiping the excess urine with toilet paper, as the buildup of urine can add to the smell. There might always be "some" smell, but it shouldn't be strong nor particularly unpleasant.

use a washing machine cleaner can be bought from most supermarkets for around five pounds involves a bit of work cleaning the door seal and soap dispenser but worth it in the long run.You also need to take the soap dispenser out and clean inside this area I have found a handled dish scrubber with bristles and a pressurized garden sprayer with just water in it cleans this area best.A good tip is once every couple of weeks select a hot wash the hottest you have and do a small load at this temperature .You don't need to leave the door wide open just ajar to allow circulation of air.

1. Take some lukewarm water in a glass and add some table salt to it
2. Gently retract your foreskin and then insert the glans penis in the glass holding back the foreskin
3. Let all the smegma dissolve. This should take about 5 mins
After that wash the area with plain water

You are probably uncircumcized. This is a big problem for uncircumcized guys. It is sometimes a problem for circumcized guys - but not nearly half as much.

Cleaning the "area" is not nearly enough.

What you need to do is pull back the skin covering the head of your penis and expose the head, or "helmet."

Do this in the shower and throughly rinse the area underneath your helmet with the skin pulled back.

If you feel that area with your finger before you get in the shower, you will find that it is slightly sweaty / sticky. There is bacteria in there making the smell. That is what you want to get rid of.

OR - just stop masterbating for a few days and it will go away too... but we both know THAT is not going to happen.

You have to wash it every after voiding. That's the only way how to keep it clean and odor free. Perhaps even if you wash after voiding if you don't totally finish peeing, urine still leaks which causes the smell and smegma formation.

Sounds like crotch rot. Try dipping your nut sack in rubbing alcohol. You'll be in so much pain that forget about the smell.
