intake manifold gasket or head gasket to blame, somehow water is leaking into your engine, that causes the white smoke, i would lean more towards intake, if its a v-6

If it was the manifold gasket you would be losing water from the radiator and it would be going into your oil, check your oil level to make sure its not overfull and water in it. You should not have to even touch the gas pedal when starting, you probably need new plugs and a fuel filter also have the fuel pump checked. good luck.

Diffenitly a head gasket problem. Get it fixed before you ruin the engine. You dont want water in the oil. Its leaking into your cylinders which will find its way to your oil pan. Get the oil changed right after you get the gasket replaced.

Look at you oil on the stick , if its yellow / emulcified head gasket is to blame, means water is transferring....dont drive the car , no lubrication if this is the case , if thats ok likelyhood is blown inlet gasket and this can burn holes in your piston tops , engine runs very lean so either case have it looked at my a buddy who knows.
