with iraq in a civil war, isreal about to go to war with palestine and syira, lran about to say **** america, and north korea about to take out japan. are we all about to be flushed down the drain?

No... The situation you describe has existed for YEARS.. Way before Bush 1 or Bush 2.... Israel has went to war before with its neighbors.
North Korea can't take out Japan if they wanted to. With the Patriot missle
system now in place we can shoot down the old scud missles that they
bought from Russia 18 years ago.
The situation as it exists now in the middle east has existed many time sbefore....... They have been fighting each other for the past 3000 years.

No. And even if we were, you couldn't do much about it. "Don't worry, be happy. And while you're being happy, consider doing something to make the world a better place: volunteer; say "Hello" to someone you don't know; open a door for somebody or let them have your place in line. Random acts of kindness, as they are known. Couldn't hurt, and it might help delay the "Big Flush."

Who knows what the future holds? We cannot dwell on what we cannot control. Besides, if we are all "flushed down the toilet," don't you think we'll go on to bigger and better things? I do, so I'm not worried.
