No where on the web is safe anymore. It's a large community so it is targeted alot. Why do people list all their business on the site? I live at 10 maple drive, here is a pic of my house and my entire fmaily and when i get home. My key is under the door! Dummy

I've had a myspace account for months and have never had a problem. My 14 y/o daughter also has an account. I feel it is safe for both of us. If your under 16 then noone can view your profile without being added as a friend first. And I have my daughters password and I check her profile site regularly to make sure she is not revealing to much or talking to anyone she shouldn't be. I know every kid on her friends list.

It just depend on what you do on myspace.Mostly people use for sharing and bad stuff. That why mostly new talk about it. Yet it consider using myspace for good, like just talking with your friend on there and having good time. It wouldn't be corrupt all the time.

Not too familiar with it, but probably so. As with so many things in life, it can be abused. Just be careful, alert and aware as to the goings on there. Use your common sense. If you think someone is trouble, they probably are. Avoid the jerks and love the angels.

no. if you are a young pretty girl it could be very very dangerous.
myspace is a tool to look for a target to rape for predators.
so i recommend you to make a private setting so only your friends see your page.
