People has a right to their own opinion. Let us respect that. If there are crackheads, let them be. This service has made me open to other's opinion and understand ideas different from mine. I learned how others think and respond to questions. I also see humor. Sometimes, stupidity. But we are a diversed species and that is a fact! Individual differences, could that be?

True, but consider this fact: A lot of people on the internet are social misfits, notwithstanding you and I of course. What really shocked me is how inarticulate people are. They think they're getting a point across with spelling mistakes in every word, poor English, no, make that miserable English. And this is not restricted to people from foreign countries. Yet, they have computers and are surfing the internet?

Public message boards always seem to draw a curious mix of the ignorant and just plain weird. So to answer your question, yes, it does lower my opinion of these types of people. Fortunately, sprinkled among the weird are the more normals types that know how to phrase a question, can spell and type.

More like it has reinforced my general opinion of the average person. I am surprised and dismayed at the vast number of people with poor spelling skills. I would never win a spelling bee but I know how to use a dictionary.

Yes, unfortunately I have found many of my fellow Christians to be ignorant, judgemental, intolerant, narrow minded, etc...it has been very discouraging...
