For livestock, it needs to be zoned Agricultural. Just call your town zoning office and they can tell you!!!!!!!!

County recorder could tell you how it is zoned and if it is in the county, rather than city limits. Most or all city limit areas are not animal friendly unless it is dogs or cats.

i only no about horses. but, if u want a mini horse you have to have at least half an acre of land. if you want a pony than you have to have an acre and if you want a standered horse like an arab or thoroughbred you gotta have 1 and a half acres. if you want like a clydesdale or friesian than you have to have to acres at least. so it all really depends on the size of the horse
