The great lakes are Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, and Lake Superior. Try an atlas, DUH! They are the largest bodies of fresh water on Earth, and supply 21 percent of the worlds fresh water. The largest is Lake Superior, with a volume of 2900 miles, and the smallest is Lake Erie with a volume of 116 miles.
