I would cancel the assassination of Robert Kennedy in 1968--he would have won the Presidency easily that year, sparing the country the Nixon Presidency and 7 more years of the Vietnam War and all of Nixon's evil appointments to the Supreme Court, so you never would have had the crooks on the Supreme Court to steal the Presidency for Bush in 2000 and there is a real good chance 9-11 never would have happened if the country had had a President who was doing his job, reading intelligence reports rather than posing for pictures at his ranch in Texas, and the Iraq War certainly would not have happened, and the country would not now owe a trillion dollars to Communist China. The assassination of Robert Kennedy was a disaster that the country and the world is still suffering from.

I wouldn't change anything.
The Holocaust, maybe...but then we wouldn't have nearly the amount of awareness we do now for crimes against humanity or prejudice and what it breeds.
The Black Plague...but then we wouldn't be researching as much about it...maybe I'd just teach the English and Londoners especially proper germ control.
Hmm...maybe I'd change the settlement of the United States...or the 13 colonies...make them realize that the Native Americans that were already there WERE more civilized than the settlers would ever dream to be and they didn't tear up the earth nearly as much...used everything they got from their hunts, etc. That might be good...change the history of all Native Americans so that the Trail of Tears didn't happen...but what on earth would happen then? I don't know.
I can't ever make up my mind with this question.

If I could change one thing in the history of the world, it would be erasing the huge fart I did in the elevator at work last Friday. What would happen is that the other 12 people in the elevator would not all get off on the next floor.

If I could change anything in the history of our world I would have pushed to stop Hitler when we were first requested to step in. My logic is that had we as a country gotten involed sooner than we did, WWII wouldn't have been nearly as devistating as it was and our country would never have shown the world any weaknesses. I believe had we ended it befor it started Japan wouldn't have crossed the sea and Pearl Harbor would have never happened. Then we would have proven how powerful a country we live in, and 911 would have never happened due to the fear we could have stricken in the thrid world countries. Sadom wouldn't have questoned our abilities. Of had we acted, but unfortunately we did not and here we are, loosing the people we love.!!!
Think about it???

At the end of World War II, when Russia was a beaten nation, I would have invaded it and helped create some sort of Representitive Democracy.
It would have stopped the rise of Communism, avoiding the Cold War. WIth no Soviet Union, there would have been no superpower threatening the U.S. with nuclear weapons.

i have thought about this a while ago. one of my choices would be to assassinate Stalin before he became powerful. but i wouldn't want to risk innocents being prosecuted (murdered) for a murder that they had nothing to do with. that would also have caused wide scale chaos, so i think i would leave that alone.
i thought of pearl harbor, but WW2 can take the credit for getting America to where it is today (in terms of political and military power), and being American think id leave it how it is.
i would stop Kim Jong II from ever taking power. that man can cause WW3 with the push of a button. the NK people are starving, but they are testing ballistic missiles and have nuclear weapons. If i assassinated Jong before he had power, NK would be such a better place

I wouldn't, u could do a lot of damage. I might however go back to whitechaple London and find out who Jack The Ripper was, hide in a dark alley and watch him, but i wouldn't stop him, it's history it's supposed to stay that way.

Take out Hitler and Himmler before they could have ever amassed the political power they ever achieved. This would have stopped the final solution, the seizing of much of Europe, and saved millions of lives.
