Well there are a lot of people that would disagree with your statement that "WIMAX is coming to a town near you". But that may depend on where you live - a lot of industry analyst see WIMAX as being primarily deployed to provide data connectivity in sparsley populated areas, while the cellular carriers will provide data services in thier traditional coverage areas.
Of course, this is contingent on the cell folks getting thier act together for data, and I'm pretty sceptical regarding that happening very soon. But I'm not moving to Idaho just to make a buck..... no offense intended of course.....
