It didn't work, they picked the wrong symbol and it didn't represent my answer. This one is similar, and it always blows me away that it is right all the time:

It worked for me, too!

The reason it works (not to spoil your fun, sorry...) is because there are only certain numbers that could possibly be the answer. Say your number was 88, for example, and my number was 22. 8 + 8 = 16, and 88 - 16 = 72. So you would be staring at "72" on the screen, and the corresponding symbol would then pop up for you with that witch-laugh. For me, 2 + 2 = 4, and 22 - 4 = 18. I would be staring at the number 18, and then my corresponding symbol would pop up, hehehehehe!!

Go back to the site again. Do you notice something similar about the symbols for 18 and 72? :)) Then they just change the symbols every time you play so you don't catch on. Hehehehehehehe!!!!

for two digit numbers, it only works with the 9 multiples of nine: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, and 81. You'll notice that these 9 allways have the same symbol. An old trick, but fun to show to kids. :-)

I tried it.. it's a trick. Any number you try will give you a multiple of nine. For example, 17, 17 - (1 + 7) = 9, 24 - (2 + 4) = 18. All of the symbols that are multiples of nine are the same. Try it again and you'll see.

Oh my god! We analyised one of these in Math class one time.. It's really cool! What it is, is.. When you take your number and subtract the sums of your two digits (i.e. 14-5) it gives you an answer that is ALWAYS divisible by 9!! And so on the chart they show you, every number that is divisble by 9 has the same symbol!!! Check it out next time! It's pretty neat how they do it..

No matter what you will end up with a multiple of 9...so 9, 18 ,27,36,45,54,63,72,81....all those numbers have the same picture...But the picture changes every time you click "again" So you think that it changes ..but it doesnt..Now knowing this do it a few more times...lol its kinda funny.
