he was good in that his style did not go with r&r at all but he made it work. he wasnt a good soloist if your thinking the clapton, page type stuff, but some of the things he did were real tasty and no one else in that genre of music played like that. at least not from england.

A good guitar player....yes. A great guitarist / the best ever. No! Hank Jr. plays a better gutiar than George......but.....through the process of elimination, somewhere in the recording history, there is the worst gutiarist. And there are probably a lot of fantastic players that aren't even known at all.

George Harrison is a wonderful human being. I like his solo in "Something" a lot.
