Here's the deal...write him a note and leave it in his mailbox or on his door anonymously...and tell him that you sometimes have premonitions that come true and you dreamt that he died somehow....IF YOU WANT TO OR FEEL THAT YOU MUST. If you don't think you can live with yourself if you don't mention it to him...then send the blasted note. If it were my friend, I'd be spending more time with him/her and make sure they didn't die...try to prevent it somehow...but this is your neighbor and you're not for sure that your dream will come true...it's not your fault if it does.

I would want to know just for laughs. I don't believe that dreams like that come true. At the very least it would be a good conversation starter.

In a dream, anything could happen. You are probably rehashing everything that impressed you during your waking hours. You saw your neighbor, und unconsciously registered an image of him looking pale, or old and weak.
I really hope that dream I had last night comes true, MMMMM.

Not unless you're officially a psychic, but I've heard that dreaming someone's death is an omen for more life to them.

No. Death can mean more than just what it seems. I'm in no way able to interpret that. Let's just keep it at that. I didn't call a colleague beause I dreamt of her death. Didn't think that would add anything to her day.
