What was this 80s horror movie called?

There is a horror movie which I think is from the eighties in which two or three guys goto this party and all the people start melting into each other and absorbing one or more of the guys.

Any ideas which movie this is? I can't remember much more about it and I think this scene was near the end.

Sorry but I used to get pretty wasted back then. I don't think I was consious during most of the movie. All I remember is that there were these young guys and they went to this party. Then it kind of turned into like an orgy, but the people started kind of merging into each other like they were made of melted cheese. This one guy pushed his hand into this other guys face and it's like they absorbed him somehow. Sorry I can't give any more detail.

It wasn't the blob, i've seen that recently and that wasn't it.

Sounds like Society...Awsome flick. At the end it was a huge orgy of everybody melting into each other to make one huge orgy blob.

usually pretty good at this thing sure it wasn't really happening while you were wasted?
Only one I can think of is the Incredible Melting Man from the late 70's

it was an actual movie. can't remember the name of the movie but think it starred either Scott Baio or Billy Warlock.
