It depends on where you live. Unfortunatley there was an opening on June 30th [for section eight], in Detroit and it is now closed again.

There are low income housing places all over. If you contact the nearest FIA building, someone can help you.

You need to contact the housing agent assigned to the county you want to live in. Here's a listing of the housing agents in Michigan:

I have a house for sale (it's in foreclosure now) in SE Michigan...in Warren. You could probably get it for about $50,000. 1100 sq. feet, 2br, 1ba, living room, den, huge kitchen, car port, fenced yard.
