when u put foil on the window do u put the shiny side in or out?

shiny side out to reflect the sun out and keep the heat out

if your using aluminum foil, the shiny side faces the sun.
if your using plastic wrap, secure it around the window sill and then use a blow-dryer to shrink fit it and insulate the space.

Foil on a window. Seems like it would conduct heat which is exactly what you don't want. Try visquine (sp?).
