we all want to make a good impression with others, it is a natural thing to do. but, as far as wondering what they think of me; no, i don't give it much thought . i've learned that no matter what we do or try to do to impress people:
a. some will never like us.
b. our true nature always comes through and they see us for what we really are.
c. by being myself i can take a lot of pressure off of me and the others around me. those that aren't going to like me can go ahead and make that decision and i won't have to waste my time.

If you are type of person that always happy and polite to other people, it will show it on your face. It will influence the person/people that you are in contact with. So there is no worry about other people think about you because you are a very nice and positive person. Trust yourself and having your head up - smile and say hello to someone you see at the hallway. Good luck!

I find that whenever I'm around a new person of the opposite sex, I *DO* have what he's thinking on my mind: "Is he checking me out...does he think I'm too fat...etc." Whenever I'm around a woman, I don't have these thoughts and insecurities.
I think the only reason I have these thoughts around men is because I'm single. Maybe there's some biological answer to it. I'm inherently searching for a mate, even when I'm not trying to do it on purpose. I think if I had a boyfriend or if I were married, I wouldn't pay attention to what men around me think.

Yes.
Its an inevitable outcome in dealing with people in general and especially with those who you consider friends, relatives and acquaintences of importance to you.
It is a natural human endeavor.

That happens all the time and I am like almost 100% that every guy and girl has wondered about it, that's the way we were made. Full of curiousity.

This is quite normal human behavior. Just be as good as you can be with everyone and they'll think nicely about you.
