Tommy Boy was filmed in and around Toronto, Ontario. According to IMDB, scenes were shot at Hart House and University College at the University of Toronto. These most likely were the college scenes. Other web sources also indicate that the opening scenes were shot at Trinity College, at the University of Toronto.
