I mean, running in the sense that they move, or don't try to get over the problem. Rather, they try to hide or keep themselves occupied. i just want to see what you guys think.

Because sadly I believe It is way easier for most people to run away, Deny, or pretend their problems dont matter... most people eventually find out it will/does have an impact on their future and even affect them daily.. but I believe that way of running does not complete your soul..there needs to be a time to address the problem..and find the solution..the compromise..or else I Believe that problem/lesson will keep repeating in their lives..

Ideal with things when I am good and ready usually. Which translates into: I run for a hot minute until I know the right way to deal.
Because anger is powerful, and mine is too.
And because I only want to deal with things once, or less often if fates allow.
But its mostly for me taking the time to choose how I should respond, and other problems jump up all the time.. and I can only effectively deal with so many at once.

A lot of the time it's just easier to run & hide than to find/face the solution. I don't think people do this intentionally, it's generally just the path of least resistance. That's why people make the same mistakes over & over again.

From a very young age in our society we are taught to avoid discomfort and suffering at all costs - even if they are for our own good. We are not teaching our children to face things head on. I think nets around trampolines are a good example (this is my pet peeve). When I was a kid, I had to be savvy enough not to be an idiot and jump so that I fell on my head. Things like that teach you to think and to self moderate. When today's children reach adulthood, they have no concept of being responsible for themselves. And, because dealing with things requires self discipline and a certain amount of suffering, we avoid it like the plague because we have no frame of reference for self discipline and suffering.

I have a friend who just never stops traveling... she can't actually. Its her escape. I find traveling wonderful but she can't stop and its just the road, road, road... its a pernicious addiction - kills slowly. She says its just travel addiction but I sense its much more and eventually she will just never come back.
