I remember this show about a wizard (or a magic-wielding man) from medieval times who travels to present day and befriends a boy. I think the older gentleman who played the wizard looked like Wilford Brimley but it wasn't him. They shared adventures and solved problems. Please help if you have any details about this show. This has been bugging me for years! Thank you.

It wasn't "The Wizard" or "Mister Wizard" either.

It was about and older man befriending a boy with his magical tricks.
I think it was called Wacko Michael Jacko and his wonderland ranch?
