Girls can be hit on by lesbians just like guys can be hit on by gay guys.
Stay out of it. If your friend is not gay he may feel uncomfortable. You do not want to be in the middle of this.
Hopefully he is flattered that someone finds him attractive...but if he is not interested then your friend can not change his mind and it should be dropped.
Good Luck.

I have had a similar experience and I guess, It is fairly simple. Just let him know that you are not gay and explain to him as to how it is. I am sure he will understand the situation.

I would be unfair on your part to shun him or avoid him. Being a gay is a way of life and a right...

All the best and deal with it carefully.

tell him that he has the right to be with whoever he wants.but once he gets on that bus ,his ticket will be stamped homoville, and there will be no transfers.and if you don't feel the same way then tell him that your butt is exit only.and the only guy that is going to stick anything up it is a doctor when you get to be 40-50 years old for a prostate exam.which is what gay guys probably live for.hope this helps

Awkward, I think anyone who has not had this experience would feel that way because it's not something that is normal in your everyday life, meaning the type of relationship you would seek out. It's like being a deer in head lights. You're like, "ummm.....what?" As long as you are confident in yourself and not homophobic handling the situation is as easy as saying, "No thanks." Only you personally know what sex you are attracted to, no one can make THAT decision for you.

It wouldn't bother me as long as he didn't let hsi feelings influence the way he acted around me. I mean, he would have to understand that I would not reciprocate the feelings, but I don't think it would effect our friendship negatively. But, like I said, if he started to become obsessed or something, and it wouldn't matter if it as a girl I wasn't interested in or a guy, then things would become uncomfortable for me.

This happens to me all the time. Gay dudes love me. Unfortunately (for them), I am very straight. Honestly, it does not bother me in the least. I politely explain that, while I am flattered by their interest, I am heterosexual and prefer the carnal attention of women. They usually thank me for my kind reply and move on to their next target.

Usually.

You should know exactly what to say if your not gay, NO. If you like him hitting on you then that's a whole different story that I am not getting into.

is the gay friend hitting on you or your friend, if it is you tell him I just dont feel that way about you. if it is your friend that the gay person likes then say nothing that is between them.

Unless its your very best firend or a real close friend I'd say dissassociate. He prpbably only wants to see if you'll turn. Not worth the hassle. Find other friends.
