im really getting tired of it....i would so much rather her a rock group or hip hop group perform before a game than a country group....it just doesnt get ppl and the players hyped up the in same way....what do u guys think?

because they are dumb. country music sucks, and rock or hip hop is so much better

There aren't ALWAYS country bands playing, don't be so dramatic!
Janet Jaxn & Justin T ruined it for the hip-hop groups to be welcomed onto the stage and rock groups have been on sometimes.
Remember Aerosmith?
I agree that country bands don't get everyone all hyped up, but a lot of people like them, so just wear your ipod while they're on and take it off right before the game starts. Problem solved.

I'd rather NOT see any hip-hop or rap, they have the basketball morons to play for. I wouldn't mind a rock group, but country's ok...at least you know when their songs are going to end...

Maybe they can only get the country singers to do it. I don't know. They are usually tame acts, too. Remember Janet's "wardrobe malfunction?" I like country music so it wouldn't bother me.
