Of course not

Current accepted science says NO, but there are those who believe it is possible. If it were possible it would require such energy consumption we can't even begin to grasp it. More than the energy we receive in a year from the Sun. Probably much more than that. Some very smart folks believe there are Laws of Physics in place that prevent reverse time travel to avoid paradoxes. Even this is in doubt, if you consider the infinite worlds multiverse theory. Every choice or outcome of every action has several different possible outcomes and every choice possible has a universe where that did happen. Ever see the scifi show "Sliders". It's like that. Google it, or Yahoo it, for more info.

By time I'm assuming you're not confusing time with reality and therefore saying that you could quite possibly concoct the right circumstances to bring about a transformation of location, form, and content.
Anything constant and acting with purpose is rejuvenated as such and will thrive. To apply this to your question, the past is obtained by the maintenance of the proper physics for that period along with a relevant goal oriented behavior. Simple enough in theory, but there are a few things to know in spite of all this. Nes pas?

We will only be able to travel back to the point in time where time travel is invented. Everything before that time will be unreachable. Unless we can find a society that had invented time travel before we did. In that case we could travel to the time when they invented it.

Complicated explanation about why this is so.

It's possible to "observe" past time, but you can't interact with it. Suppose you had a rocket that could travel faster than light. If you traveled to a place where light from yesterday was just starting to reach, you could observe that reflected light and see who took the doughnuts out of my car yesterday, as they were taking them. You couldn't do anything about it, just watch. Hence time travel is possible to an extent.

The only possible way is to use an immensely powerful gravimetric drive device to bend space time so that the two points of it that you wish to connect (present - past) are conected...then you would need to simply slip through the tear in space time using a craft surrounded by a Quantum based energy field (that could withstand the gravity of the Wormhole)

The other possible way is to find or create a Wormhole connecting two such points in the space-time continuum.

Stephen Hawking and Kip Thorne have both, very recently, recanted their earlier position of, "No way", to a cautionary "yes". The caution is that they can show a theoretical possibility, BUT a tiny (msec or two) temporal displacement would require something like the energy of the sun for 1000 years.

So...it MAY be possible, but it sure ain't likely.

It is already possible to travel forward in time via relativity. There are many theories of possible ways to travel back in time, but none have been proven that I know of. That doesn't mean it's not possible though, it just means we haven't figured it out yet ;).

actually if you travel from east to west, you do go into a different time zone, so it is possible to leave one place at 3:00 and arrive in another at 2:00.

Currently with our knowledge of space time going back in time is not possible. It breaks numerous laws of physics not to mention creates a wide range of paradoxes that will hurt your brain ^_^

Travelling forward in time thats the easy one...

Maybe but it would take a lot of energy. I don't know if the energy of the sun would even be enough.
