I once asked a server if you really had to be a senior to order off the senior menu and was told that they don't card and don't care. I don't know if any restaurant cards. It's a portion is small so the cost is less. Anyway a person may not have ID with them if they were not the driver.

Since it is a service based industry I would think they would want to be accommodating.
I know that some people who have had the gastric bypass (stomach staple) surgery order off the children’s menu some places since they can eat so little.
As long as it isn't very busy, just ask the server if they can accommodate you. Just tell them you are not a big eater and you really hate to waste food.
