Are you serious? As I type this I am wearing my "Decemberists" t-shirt. I absolutely adore them. I saw them in Central Park last year and saw Colin Meloy on his solo tour in January. I freakin' LOVE the Decemberists and am so excited to hear that you do too!

The Fiery Furnaces
They are a very cool band, I saw them live and they are very good. Hard to describe them, they do concept albums like The Flaming Lips but with influences from just about any type of music. They have out four Cd's in the last 2003, two more Cd's come out in August so they work like crazy to put out new stuff. At least check them out, they are very different from most music but I like that about them.
