What Necronomicon? H.P. Lovecraft's Necronomicon? The Necronomicon from the Evil Dead movies? The Egyptian book of the Dead? There are a wide variety of these books in popular culture, they all mean something different.

Its been awhile but as I remember it was written by Achmed Al something and the title is translated as " the sounds of nighttime desert insects which may be the voices of demons". Supposedly the author was seized and devoured by invisible demons in a market in Baghdad. Im not sure what the date was. Of course its all a bunch of crap, I hope.

I got a nice leather bound book. It is based on Sumerian/Babylonian gods and symbols. I believe it to be fiction, but it is always fun to summon dead people once in a while.
