Because instead of searching for a job that matches your new "skillset", your asking obvious questions on the Internet.
Have you looked for a job (and I mean OTHER than the Internet)?
Have you worked on your people networking?
Maybe you need to a different location where you can find a job that suits you.
Maybe you're just lazy. My teenager washed dishes at Denny's and was promoted to cook in less than 2 weeks (I heard they hired someone with a degree from DeVry to fill the dishwasher spot).

It's possible that DeVry is a diploma mill. I'm guessing they at least make you go to classes (or take them online) and study and take tests, but you could probably learn just as much about IT or whatever at home on the internet or with some "For Dummies" books. Understand that this is just my opinion. I may be wrong about DeVry, but I know there are lots of places that just charge money for certificates or diplomas that aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Try your local community college if you want a cheap associates' degree in tech.

College doesn't get you a job, it prepares you to be more successful once you have one.
Graduating is just the beginning of the hard work. You have to find a related job and work your way up from there. When you start, you'll be behind those who have worked in that environment while you were in school. You will progress faster than they do if you work hard and use the knowledge you gained in school. Eventually you will pass the others up, but it takes years of hard work.

If you grad'd fr there you needa look for a job that Devry's gonna help you wit. I took lots of comp courses & now I'm working in an office. I figured that since I took all of those courses that I may as well try to work in an office. I think that you should find something else since I heard that Devry's is so expensive... Get something out of it. Get your $ back.

Sometimes, if we limit where we are willing to look for a job, or disinclined to move out of a "hometown" then the job we want is not available. You may not be casting your net wide enough. Also, as some others have pointed out, you may want to get some counseling on preparing for an interview, resume development, and attire for interviews.

While still in collage my brother-in-law HAD to show me a t-shirt that said "I just got my B.F.A.......Would you like fries with that?"
I'm wondering if you narrowed down your choices, specializing in one area of study. I have friends who have done this.
While in collage, I took as many diverse classes as possible. I graduated with a BFA, with an emphasis in Graphic Design. I also minored in theatre design.
Art history helped in leading me to an internship at the Chicago Institute of Art. But, I chose my internship with Disney, on a advertising and marketing emphasis.
Theatre design helped me in getting my first job as a prep stylist in a catalog dept. Which led to a job as a photographers assistant for a master photographer.
Art history and theatre history helped me with how to write and present myself. This led to my dream job with a newspaper as head photographer and sometimes writer!
Specializing in one area really limits a person. Does Denny's reimburse collage tuition for classes that will help with your job? I'd ask them and take advantage of it!
Best of luck!

Cuz you learned the skills but not the job-search techniques. Job-search is SO important, and lots of people lose out on it.
