It's all in the exercises you do. For me, yoga is the best and I have a great resource for you, if you like yoga too. Yoga Journal has a Pose Finder on their web site:
http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/index.cfm?ctsrc=welcome
Here you can search for poses by anatomical focus (thighs, abdomen, etc) and get exercises that will give you results in that area. It's amazing how quickly yoga can work too.
Peace!

Certain excercise does target certain areas...but there is no diet that I know of that does that. For your legs/butt - do lunges and squats....you can 'lunge walk' and stop and do 10/15 squats every few minutes - you can do this through out the day. tummy - do sit ups/crunches.......take a broom balance it across your shoulders (hold it with hands) twist from side to side - this will work the 'love handle' area.

I wish! The only way to do it is to work your butt off doing cardiovascular workouts. There's no possible way to reduce fat by doing and exercise in that area. You may be able to tighten the muscles in that area, but the fat's gonna come off equally in all areas.

Nope. No can do.
Localized exercise will tone the muscles in that area, and may improve the way it looks, but will not remove the fat in that area.
The only way to remove fat is to burn it (and liposuction) by exercising. The body pretty much decides which part to burn fat from first, and it usually isn't the part you wanted.

No- there is no such thing as spot reduction. When you work out you generally lose fat all over your body evenly.
