No, I believe that the subconscious uses dreams to work out problems. I rarely remember my dreams, but the ones that I do usually have some pertinence to my waking life.

I believe they all are little points or notes that your subconsious made based on your activities and emotions in your recent past.

I also believe that they are a linkway to a person you care about, if they are in trouble for example or emotionally hightend you will dream of that person and have a simmilar emotional experience.

In short, yes I do believe that your dreams can forecast your future. But like every weather forecast you see, it is not allways 100% acurate. Your challenge of the dreamer is to interperate the dream for whatever lessons it can give and apply it.

I don't think they forecast the future as much as they deal with something that is going on in your life that you need to work on. I think dreams help you deal with those things. At least, that is my experience.

Dreams are the brain's way of symbolizing the events of your waking day. If one is having repeat dreams (or nightmares) it is usually due to something that is not resolved in your waking day.

They do not forecast the future.

Sometimes. I had a dream where some teeth fell off. According to some people, this means that someone will die. Unfortunately, someone did. Yet there was a dream where I was back with this girl. In reality, we never got back together. It was more of a Irony, I guess.

I think dreams finish the thougths that we haven't had a chance to finish in a given day. What bigger questions tug at you while you are trying to think up whats for dinner finish thenselves out in dreams... So while not necessarily being predictive, they show you the conclusions of evidence you've already seen, and throw in how you feel about that.
Course, thats just what I think about that. I havent had predictive dreams, just ones that have told me where I am with things that nag me. I've had predictive concious conclusions.

Yes I do! I have had a few dreams that have come true. Most of them happened exactly the same way and some of them just involved the same subject. I had a death dream recently! It was about my neighbor. I haven't decided on whether I should tell him or not (I don't know him very well). I had one about my son and he didn't go anywhere for a few months(he knows about me).
