Because a psych-analyst is a very specific type of psychologist who practices a specialized form of very long-term therapy. Psycho-analysts are typically sought out by rich messed up people so they feel they can charge an arm and a leg and demand that you seem them several times a week. Having said that, if you just want a good therapist--you can find one at most community mental health centers, counseling centers, etc. and they usually offer sliding scales for students or people with low incomes. Check into it.
