I think its good for a World Cup team to have a mix of players, some who are native, and others who are non-native. The jersey you wear doesn't have as much importance as the player whos wearing the jerseys skill. Plus, most countrys are multi-cultured so having players of different backrounds on each team is a more realistic representation of each country anyways

It suggests several things;

1st:

The game is much more inclined to be a global business , rather than reflecting a competition between different nations with their genuine abilities in the game .
2nd:
Racially , black players , especially from afrika are much more dominating the game in the last few decades , to the extent that in a team like France , the odd is to see a white player
3rd
The social fabric ,in some instances, in some countries like Germany -which was known in the past for it's racial prejudice-has been very much altered, to the extent you see black player , something which was almost impossible decades ago

This is one world. One belongs to where one eats, sleeps and gets one's living. Native or non-native just isn't logic, or else you'd only be allowed to play for the little town where you were born. Not fair, is it?
