im going out with guy and we agreed we didn't want anyone else 2 know about it. however i told my best friend about our relationship and she promise she wouldn't tell a soul and she knew if she did it would really hurt me. when she was hanging out with these jerks i overheard her tell them my secret. i went up 2 her and gave her a dirty look and she shouted at me said u deserve it even though i hadn't done anything now im afraid those jerks will tell evry1 and my boyfriend will break up with me i know i shouldn't hav told her but she has been my best friend for 7 years so i thought i could trust her i don't know wat 2 do or wat 2 say 2 her HELP!!!!!

Okay the real question is why would you agree to date a guy and keep it a secret? what is he trying to hide from you? Another girlfriend or two? I would seriously be rethinking that relationship. As for your friend did she maybe like him already? And did you know that she might have liked him? I think you should talk to your girl and find out why she did what she did. if she did it bc she was jealous then find a way to work it out. if she did it just to be spitful then find a new friend. but really think about dating a guy who wants to keep you a secret that is never good there is usually something behind that reasoning which is only going to hurt you in the long run.

The best thing might be to tell your boyfriend that you accidentally told her or say that she overheard you or something. It's better if he finds out from you that word is getting out then finding out from everyone else. Either way, definitely get a new best friend, and if you boyfriend can't be public with you then something might be wrong and you shoudl probably get a boyfriend too!

she don't deserve to be your best friend, just treat her normally. The only way to keep a secret is not to tell anyone, cos you don't know when people will turn their back on you.

you can either backstab her also and say something about her as well but that may cause up some other trouble or tell her straight be like i thought we was friends and i thought i could trust you and that was wrong and i dont wanna be friends with you anymore

yeah ive been in kinda a situation like that before but what i would do is ignore her and dont talk to her again because that was a low thing for her to do and just tell those jerks to not spread it around.
