It was a pretty good movie. I really liked the blood and gore. The story line was okay and the acting was pretty good. Overall I'd give it a thumbs up (out of two).

First I must correct Scott C. Quentin Tarantino did not direct "Hostel". He only helped market it. It was actually Eli Roth (Cabin Fever) who directed it.
I thought Hostel was very good. The special effects were great, the story-line was intriguing, the acting was good, and overall it was a really great film. I've seen it once and I still think about it. Especially those homicidal street-urchin children.

It was slow and boring, but it was hyped up so much that I kept watching thinking something great was going to happen. It was an original idea, but I think it could have been written a little better.

I didn't really like it that much. Sucks for me though I bought it before I watched it. I only liked the part near the end when they were cutting people up and stuff. Other than that I thought it was kinda corny.

I would not have re-entered to save the screaming victim. What a bonehead move. She killed herself. I enjoyed the run down of the paid *****. Strange premise.
