A memory box is for whatever you believe best represents a memory you want to cherish. There are no limits other than the size of the box and what you want to put into it.

A memory box is meant to be someplace to keep momentos to remind you of events in the future, so just about anything can go into it: movie tickets, birthday cards, graduation/wedding souveniers, vacation souveniers, etc.
You're only limited by your imagination.

Put things that you would like to remember as in family pictures of trips and special events or friends and things that people gave you like lockets jewelry and any thing else you would like to add to it.

I think it depends on you. I have something similar to that, and I put things I collect from different places that appeal to me.
