Ohhhhh, thank you for that. I haven't had such a good laugh in a long time, and I really needed it.

I am a lesbian, but I want to try and answer this on behalf of my gay brothers. They are not scared of women. What have they to fear? If you had eyes, you would see that just about every gay man has a woman for his best friend. They like women, they just feel no romantic attachment to them. And as far as it being a "lot of work to maintain a relationship" you should try being in a gay relationship! Not only do you have the regular pressures of being with someone. Communication, compromise, honesty, love, forgiveness, support....pressures of work, family, friends, outside interests and money. But then you have to constantly defend your relationship, fight for equal rights and the chance to HAVE a relationship under the homophobic and ignorant eyes of society. Hmmmm, I wonder who's really doing the work to have and maintain a healthy relationship here?

Nope. Homosexuals of the male variety are not afraid of women, being gay doesn't have anything to do with fear. Its all about love and attraction.
Gay relationships have the same hard work to do in their own relationships, they have the same insecurities and even though the mechanics are slightly different, at the end of the day they are trying just as hard as the straight couples to keep it together and maintain healthy loving relationships. Ive never met a single person straight or gay who chose to change their orientation out of fear. People who are afraid of women become celibate. They dont pop off and investigate other options.

I tend to believe that being gay would be much easier than being heterosexual, because gays understand each other better than the opposite sexes do. Therefore, there is no guessing, no wonderment, no real excitement, and thrill of discovering the opposite sex. Yes, being with the OPPOSITE sex is complex, but, THAT is the THRILL of it. That is the gay person's loss. But, you can never force a gay person to go straight. If you have a crush on a gay person, get over it! SERIOUSLY!

fu** you people that say being gay is the easy way to get a relationship, it is by absolutly no means easier to be gay it is in fact extremly hard for alot of gay people. example, the first hurdle you have to get over is deciding if the guy, in my case, is gay or not and if he would try to beat your *** if you tried to hit on him. then there is the sex, just a little diff than str8 sex now isnt it. and then there is the actual relationship, why would it be any easier than a woman, give me one good answer why

No, they just fall for other traits in people, and can imagine themselves more with their own "kind"

It can be hard to keep up a relationship with a guy, too, you know..!
