Does anyone find it strange that someone thinks there is too much football questions in this category? Dissapear then spellmaster!

Scotland has a good chance of qualifying for 2008. France, Italy and the Ukraine will all be in a build-up phase, saying goodbye to their golden generations - while Scotland's cream has yet to rise to the top. If Scotland field a young team (avg 23) against the wearied old players in the qualifiers (Henry, Del Piero, Shevchenko et al) then surely they could go a long way.
And if Greece can win a European cup with mere grit and determination, what's to say Scotland cannae? Your question would be more ludicrous if it'd been about England - as grit or determination lack in such extreme measure, any talent is nulled as well.

How is this as ridiculous as if you asked about England winning?
Scotland havent even qualified for the World Cup since 1998 (a mere 8 years ago) and you're toying with notion that they can win the next World Cup?
Either you know something we all don't, or you are indeed mad

Having just won the Kirin Cup that makes Scotland the only international cup holders in GB. They have a smuch chance as England but in all honesty I dont think they will even qualify.

I'm English and I personally hope the jocks qualify for the Euros and the world cup...it's not the same without both teams at those competitions....good bit of friendly rivalry and banter.Besides which,sometimes we get to play each other and who can forget Gazza's goal against the devils in skirts?.....

Id say a BIG NO. They are rubbish pure and simple Barry ferguson the guy who punches everyone is their best player and he is absolute pants . England would kick Shitelands *** at footie & anyother sport for that matter every time.
