A win in soccer constitutes one team putting more balls in the net than the other. Italy did that. That's why they won. why does everyone want to see france go down like sore losers? be happy they got as far as they did... be happy for the team that won. stop using excuses. they were ahead a goal that shouldn't have been a penalty kick to begin with and couldnt do anything with it. henry was tired and zidane did something stupid... that's why they were out. all of a sudden, zidane's the victim? i don't think so. FORZA AZZURRI. They played well the whole tournament and noone deserved the win more than they did.

Because they are world Champs!!!! ITALY WON TAKE THAT FRANCE! How does it feel now? I think Italy played the best throughout the entire world cup. Remember to win it must go in the net.

They lasted long enough to get to the penalty kicks and they took their time and made them. Italy looked out of gas, but showed a lot of heart.
