well this is a contreversial question....

In America most teens leave at 18 when they are considered adults and have to move on. But in a differant cultured family, or even American, teens leave home as quickly as possible if they're family dislikes them...if they find someone who they love...or if they just want to be alone and "out of the family". I dont know how it is in America exactly but I do know that in Europe and other continents it doesnt matter as much...you could leave home when your 15 if you want to get away or live alone...but fortunatley that's not always the way people want to start. Sorry but I do not know much more o this topic...

In nearly every state, that age is 18. To leave the household otherwise, you must file for emancipation. A local social service office may be able to guide you if that's what you seek. However, in most cases there must be proof of abuse or neglect. Some states will allow it if there's proof of the ability for the young person to care for themselves (good student, good job, etc.) and the parents agree.

I think it depends on what your state laws are, most states it is 18. If you leave before then, your parents can report you as a runaway.

When you turn 18 you are legal and no longer under your parents guidance so-to-speak. When you are 18 you are then considered an adult.
