Seems to me that you are looking for some sort of understanding, am I right?
The direct or indirect connotation if you prefer would: average, okay, fair, mediocre, etc.
Or if you were to translate to Spanish, the exact meaning would be: Insipid, meaning roughly the same thing. With possible additions as; bored, dull, or......
and you probably will not believe this!!!!
It can mean, (and I am paraphrasing here)
“I just don’t know what kind of question to ask on this site. I know... I will just put in my logon name and see what happens”!!!

Yeah, can you believe that soso!!!!??? (etc. etc) would translate like that?
